Celebrating Kiva’s 15-Year Anniversary

It was an honor with the wonderful folks at Rally Interactive and Kiva for the Kiva's 15-year anniversary page.

Kiva is a social lending platform which allows people to lend money electronically to low-income entrepreneurs and students in 77 countries. Throughout their 15-year journey, they have facilitated funding for over 15,000 entrepreneurs from all over the world! To share their unique achievement, they wanted to showcase the impact that they've had on a global scale - and what better way to show that than a globe! In fact, they reached out to Rally Interactive especially for their GlobeKit product is a slick and full-featured interactive globe library built in WebGL.

I was brought on to integrate the GlobeKit globe with Kiva's wireframes for the 15-year anniversary page. It was a great experience poking around GlobeKit, working with Vue.js for the first time, implementing fun CSS animations, and implementing pixel-perfect responsive designs.
